We invite you to visit our store in Georgetown Newcastle in person and browse through our stunning collection of fabrics, kits, patterns and beautiful trims .As soon as you enter our store, you’ll be smiling as you are greeted by a beautiful selection of fabrics, gorgeous reproduction prints, and breathtaking designer fabrics.
You’ll find many quilting treasures here, including our very popular kits, books, patterns and haberdashery. And, if you love making quilts but find quilting difficult or just not your thing we have a professional long arm quilting service.
You will find A Quilter's Hive has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will make you feel at home immediately. If you live in the Newcastle area you are sure to enjoy the classes run by our award winning and friendly tutors. We also run 'Weekend Retreats' and weekend workshops that must be experienced to be believed. Then again, we always have freshly plunged coffee and tea served in fine bone china available to make every visit extra special.
We have also intruduced an Embroidery Class which we will be running every fortnight on a Tuesday morning. Our tutor is Debbie Hoitink who is a specialist smocker and embroiderer.
