HOW DO I ORDER?

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into your shopping cart by clicking ADD TO CART. After you have finished your selection, click on SHOW CART and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept Visa, Bankcard and Mastercard. We also accept Australian cheques and money orders by mail. Australian customers can use their internet banking facilities to pay by direct credit to our bank account. The system allows you to print out your order for faxing or mailing.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information through our secure on-line ordering system or via phone .

Delivery Information

If the product is in stock we aim to despatch your order within 2 working days. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery. At our busy times this may take a little longer but we promise to get your order to you as Quickly as possible. Please note that we do not despatch on Saturdays or Sundays. Obviously your location will determine the shipping time. Please contact Australia Post for estimated delivery times. We are located in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, postcode 2298.

All orders are subject to availability. If there is a delay or we are unable to deliver your order, you will be notified by e-mail and the value of the goods refunded to your account within 28 working days.

What happens if a product I have ordered is no longer available?

We try to ensure that all products displayed on our website are available. However, if there is an unexpected shortage of a particular product we will email you immediately and let you know.

If an item is no longer available for order from our suppliers we will contact you immediately so you may revise your order.

 

When will my order arrive?

All orders are dispatched within two business days from when you place your order. Obviously your location will determine the shipping time. Please contact Australia Post for estimated delivery times. We are located in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, postcode 2298.

Block of the Month

Block of the Month is a fantastic way to build a quilt . For a once a month cost you receive a pattern and fabric to make one block - each month you receive in the mail something nice for yourself rather than a bill. When joining a Block of the Month program you are committing yourself for the full length of that program. We ensure that sufficient fabric is put aside for you to finish that quilt . Sometimes it is difficult to get exact fabric that the designer has used but we endeavour to make it as close a match as possible .Payment for a Block of the Month will be as follows:


1. Initial payment = First months payment is required .

2. Monthly payments = Each month your credit card will be charged for that months block and all fabrics, patterns and instructions posted to you.  Payment by cheque or money order is also accepted however please contact Candy directly to arrange payment by these methods.

Postage for overseas customers will be calculated individually at the time of ordering.


Do your prices include GST?

Yes, all prices include GST and are quoted in Australian dollars. Unless otherwise stated, prices do NOT include postage and handling. Postage and handling costs will be confirmed in your Order Confirmation email.

Postage and Handling Costs

We now deliver throughout the World. Delivery charges are through Australia Post and all prices are dependent on the weight of the item. Block of the Month postage is usually $1.00. Any purchases over $100 attracts no postage costs.

 

Outside Australia
To minimise the freight costs, charges will be calculated on the weight of the order. We will advise you by email of the freight cost and await your confirmation prior to further processing.

Returns Policy

At A Quilter's Hive we aim to make shopping as easy as possible. However if you are not happy with your goods they can be returned to us within 3 months. We will be happy to make an exchange, or refund the goods providing they are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging.

Your Right To Cancel
You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason within 7 days of delivery of the products. To do so you must give us written notice (including email) within that 7 day period. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days. Cancelled items must be returned to us at your cost and must be received by us complete, in perfect condition, unused, and in their original packaging.

Conformity Of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

Your browser will go into secure mode as soon as you click to go into the checkout. You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for the padlock icon at the bottom of your browser screen. Once this padlock is displayed all of your details are encrypted to keep them secure by the very latest SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology, which is the industry standard security protocol. This makes it extremely difficult for anyone to decode. A Quilter's Hive will never request information that is excessive for our purpose, and we try, with your help, to keep any information we hold about you up to date and accurate. We will never at any time give your details to anyone outside A Quilter's Hive.
